The bicycle manufacturer Arkus & Romet Group is one of the largest bicycle manufacturers in Poland and throughout Europe. The company started in 1991 under the "Arkus" brand as a small bicycle trade company and later acquired the much better known "Romet" brand along with its factories. Arkus & Romet Group produces bicycles, electric bicycles, mopeds and motorcycles. The company has a strong development unit and is one of the pioneers of the bicycle industry in Poland. The main production units of the group are located in three Polish cities: Podgrodzie, Jastrow and Kowalewo.
